Sure, you&#039;ve seen it before. It&#039;s a copywriting tactic that has been used for decades.  It works and it can work well. Of course if the headline it leads into isn&#039;t believable, then that headline has let the seller down -- not the pre-headline.

As good as this is, have we not all seen this sort of intro?  Typically it&#039;s soon following by such quips such &quot;stay at home mom discovers secret for teeth whitening&quot;, or some other bologna about refinancing or making 10-thousand dollars a month while you work from home.
